Coming out to you family
It's not something I personally had that much of a problem with, but it's difficult for some.

Freedom of speech, freedom from faith.

For me, it wasn't personally a big deal, fortunately.
My dad wasn't exactly thrilled about it, but given the fact that I was the only one of his three sons who was a responsible person, it was just something he had to grudgingly accept.
Sometimes my mom would insist that I was still a Catholic. She would say "You're a non-practicing Catholic." I would reply "No I'm not. A non-practicing Catholic is someone who still nominally believes but doesn't go to church. I don't believe in it at all."
Then she would mention that I was baptized when I was infant. But I would tell her that yeah, I was just an infant. I was not aware of what was going on and some priest pouring water on my head does not compel me to commit to anything.
This is pretty much why I said nothing when I was a kid. I had a step-mother from hell, who would have ridiculed me beyond belief (pun intended)
1) I'm, um, suspicious. Looks staged.
2) With a family like that, no wonder the kid doesn't believe.
Yes, I thought this was staged too. The acting wasn't bad though.
I never had to come out because I was an atheist toddler, lol. My dad tried to give me a Christian coloring book and I refused to take it.
